Kimora Lee Simmons and her daughters, Ming Lee Simmons and Aoki Lee Simmons, have been three of many to attend funeral providers for the late Andre Leon Talley on Friday, April 29, 2022. The style mogul wrote a transferring tribute to the celebrated journalist and trend icon on her Instagram web page.
“My Dearest Andre, You have been a soul not like another,” Kimora wrote to Andre. “Courageous, good, and giving of your love and abilities,” she continued. “I’ll miss our laughter and the power and inspiration you gave to me, my children, and numerous others. We’re ceaselessly modified having identified and beloved you.”
Andre Leon Talley handed away on January 18, 2022. He was acknowledged by many as one who trailblazed within the trend trade. Anna Wintour was particularly emotional throughout Talley’s memorial service in Harlem, New York, as she had the chance to ascertain a particular bond with the journalist throughout his time at Vogue. “He crossed the Atlantic to be with me when my mom died,” Anna instructed attendees throughout Friday’s service. Wintour couldn’t maintain again the tears throughout her tribute to her late buddy.
“Your memorial was a real celebration,” Kimora Lee Simmons wrote to Andre in her tribute on Instagram. “We have been surrounded by your folks, family members, and colleagues, joined in mutual admiration and appreciation of all of your many items,” the legendary mannequin continued. “I’m impressed to hold in your work and legacy with all of my remaining days. Ming Lee Simmons and Aoki Lee Simmons wore black apparel to Andre Leon Talley’s funeral. Kimora Lee Simmons determined to put on a white costume to the ceremony.
“What an exquisite memorial to Andre,” one social media follower stated after seeing the photographs of Kimora together with her daughters and studying the tribute the style mogul wrote to the late journalist.
One other Instagram fan commented on Kimora’s look within the pictures. “How does the mother appear like the sister,” the social media follower requested. “Age the place?”
