and it’s full of sugar, so we see the appeal. However, these
homemade ones are even better. All you have to do is to combine
flour, sugar, salt, butter, shortening in the food processor until it
forms a coarse meal and then add water and process until it just
starts to hold together. Divide into 2 parts and refrigerate for half
an hour. In the meantime make the filling by combining cold water
with cornstarch, add the jam and simmer until it thickens a bit. Roll
out the dough, cut it up into equal pop tart shapes, add the filling,
use the egg wash to stick the two sides together and brush some egg
wash on top too. Bake for 30 minutes at 350F. Let them cool before

cut it into serving size squares and line a pan with it. Then make
